Heliosolar’s CEO, David Ochoa, is today attending a technical meeting in Oporto concerning the launch of various installation projects for solar parks with 80 Mw of power, in the Alentejo region.
He will also analyse, together with a Portuguese management group, the launch of Heliosolar onto the wind farm installation market, with a 160 Mw Project.
Following a study of the Portuguese renewable energy market, Heliosolar has considered this country to be a priority according to its expansion strategy and has set the objective of reaching 1000 Mw of power installed in Portugal over the next four years. |

Milán, August 2nd 2010
Heliosolar inaugurates new technical offices in the city of Benevento, Campania, in order to assist efficiently the construction of Helioparks™ which are planned to be located in the south of Italy.
The initial technical team is composed by three engineers from this country who will coordinate with the Engineering department of the main office in Spain.
Several photovoltaic projects are currently in the execution phase with 16 Mw of total power in Benevento and two other projects with 15 and 40 Mw each are almost completing the paperwork phase.

Heliosolar’s international expansion process steps up with the creation of a subsidiary of the Group in the French city of Nîmes, in the Langedoc-Rousillon area, located in the southwest of the country.
Initially the company’s strategy will focus on the photovoltaic market which, in France’s case, has its own unique characteristics. The efforts of the French administration focuses in encouraging the construction of urban photovoltaic power stations through solar installations on the roofs of large buildings, in order to generate energy connected to the network. Also, following the France’s tradition of supporting the agricultural sector, the construction of photovoltaic greenhouses is also promoted; both actions are subject to special fares that encourage the generation and sale of the produced energy.
